PERFORMANCE, REHEARSAL, GALLERY

Convergence has a variety of spaces available to meet your performance, rehearsal, practice, party and meeting needs. We are conveniently located between 395 and King Street on Quaker Lane. We sit on the border of Alexandria and Arlington minutes from both Shirlington and Old Town, Alexandria.

Fees and Descriptions - Effective April 1, 2011

These rates apply for occasional and non-exclusive use only.

Main Building**(1801 N. Quaker Lane): 
 
Ideal for concerts, performance, events   
     and large meetings. Seats 300. 
     Performance/Large Meeting/Event   $90/hr
  •  includes Sanctuary, Gallery & Green Rms
  • for 100+ guests, add'l cleaning charge ($75)
 
     Recital/Small Meeting$30/hr
     No tickets and fewer than 30 in attendance.  
  •  includes Meeting Room & 1 Green Room
 
      Rehearsal/Class/Small Workshop$15/hr
  
The Lab (1819 N. Quaker Lane): 
Studio Theatre* 
Ideal for intimate performances, staged readings,    
     meetings and rehearsals. Seats 100 (150 stand'g). 
     Performance/Large Meeting$55/hr
  • includes Theatre Space, Lounge & Kitchen
  • for 100+ guests, add'l cleaning charge ($75)
 
     Recital/Small Meeting$30/hr 
      No tickets and fewer than 20 in attendance. 
  • includes Theatre Space & Lounge
 
      Rehearsal/Class/Small Workshop$15/hr

Sanctuary:
Cushioned pews, Natural light from floor to ceiling, and Stained Glass blocks of color. Beautiful hardwood ceilings. Stage area, choir loft, AC/Heat, Baby Grand piano, Organ, Microphones. Photos

 

Gallery Space: 90x13 Front; 86x 6 Hallway. Wood laminate floors, floor to ceiling windows, variety of seating options, tables, chairs, sofas, or open space. Great for parties, meetings and receptions. Walker Gallery Hanging system. Photos 

 

Martha's Studio: Large classroom 15-20 people, tables & chairs available.

 

Studio 9: Small classroom 6-12 people, conversational seating.

 

The Lab Studio Theatre: 41x38 sq. ft. Small stage, Lighting on dimmer system, Holds up to 150 standing, 100 seated, 85 with tables and chairs, Gallery system for artwork, Upright Piano, Carpeted, Separate A/C and heat from building. Photos 

 

The Lounge: Comfortable meeting space 5-12 people.

 

Rehearsal Room: Large classroom 20-30 people for rehearsal; 5-12 with tables & chairs. Equipped with Mirrors and Ballet Barres.


Practice Room: Available for individual music practice, projects or small classes.
